Richard J. Cleave, D.M.D., F.A.G.D.
Dr. Cleave is a General Dentist with advanced training in Implant Dentistry & Intravenous Sedation treatment techniques. Dr. Cleave earned his Doctor Of Dental Medicine degree from the University Of Medicine And Dentistry Of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
Further training included an Implant Residency Program (Maxi Course) co-sponsored by Brookdale Hospital in New York City and UMDNJ. Training for Parenteral administration of medications (IV Sedation) was completed at Albert Einstein Medical School and Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Cleave is a Diplomate of The American Board Of Oral Implantology - Implant Dentistry. As of January 2009 there are less than 30 fully Credentialed Dental Implantologists in the state of New Jersey. This status represents the highest degrees of training and experience in Implant Dentistry. Dr. Cleave is also a Diplomate in The International Congress Of Oral Implantology. This is the one of the highest International recognitions that exists for Dental Implantologists.
In addition, Dr. Cleave has earned Fellowships in The American Academy Of Implant Dentistry, The Academy Of Implants And Transplants, and The Academy Of General Dentistry.
Dr. Cleave also has Diplomate status in the National Dental Board Of Anesthesiology and is a Fellow in the American Dental Society Of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Cleave performs both the Surgical & Prosthetic (restorative) phases of Implant Dentistry. This means that the entire comprehensive procedure will be done at the same office from start to finish. Maintenance is also very important and whom better to maintain these advanced services than the rendering doctor and staff. Dr. Cleave also has published implant related articles in such prestigious implant journals as the "Journal Of Oral Implantology." Dr. Cleave is also a Manuscript Reviewer for the Journal.
Parenteral techniques, which include Intravenous Sedation, also requires additional training. Dr. Cleave has had a great deal of experience in this field. Dr. Cleave received his training in Parenteral Sedation at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein Medical College, in New York City. Dr. Cleave was also a part time Attending at both Montefiore Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospitals.
Dr. Cleave holds both Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support status from The American Heart Association. The Parenteral Sedation Permit held by Dr. Cleave is awarded by the State to those who meet the high qualifications as set by the New Jersey Dental Board. To date there are few Dentists in the State who hold this permit. Dr. Cleave also has a wide base of experience in all phases of General, Cosmetic, Implant, and Surgical Dentistry, including complex wisdom tooth extractions and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Cleave is married to Barbara. Barbara is our office manager. We all know that she is actually the "boss." They have three children, Kristin, a high school Social Science and English teacher in Kona, Hawaii with her husband Brendan, a sixth grade math teacher. Rick finished his 4 year hitch with the Marine Corps and now attends the University Of Hawaii School of Pharmacy in Hilo, Hawaii. He will earn his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2015. Our youngest son, Kevin, is taking his Masters in Public Health from New York Medical College. He tells us that he wants to continue and pursue a Doctorate in Public Health.
Dr. & Mrs. Cleave have two grandchildren. Reilly Anne was born on May 27, 2008. Her brother Kaden was born on April 26, 2011.
Dr. & Mrs. Cleave reside in Green Township, Sussex County. Dr. Cleave enjoys fishing and hunting.
Efthimios H. Kalavrouziotis, D.M.D.
Dr. Kalavrouziotis is a General Dentist who earned his Doctor Of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University Dental School. Dr. Kalavrouziotis is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Tri-County Dental Association. Dr. Kalavrouziotis enjoys attending continuing education courses in various fields of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kalavrouziotis feels that these courses are an integral part in facing the challenges of Dentistry today. He performs all aspects of Dentistry, ranging from Endodontics to complex dental restorative procedures and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Kalavrouziotis is married to Christina and they have two boys and one girl. Christos was born in May 2007 and Evangelos was born in May 2009. Maria was born in October 2010.
Michael J. Goldkind, D.M.D.
Dr. Michael Goldkind completed his undergraduate studies at the University Of Connecticut graduating Summa Cum Laude. At UConn, Dr. Goldkind played Division I college Ice Hockey. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Goldkind played minor league hockey in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He then went on to obtain his Doctor Of Dental Medicine degree from the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine. Dr. Goldkind continued his studies, completing a three year residency program in Orthodontics at the University Of Medicine And Denistry Of New Jersey.
Dr. Goldkind's orthodontic treatment philosophy hinges on patient centered care. He treats to the individual needs and characteristics of each patient resulting in the highest quality Orthdontic Treatment that is right for each patient. It is of the utmost importance to Dr. Goldkind that his patients enjoy their orthodontic experience.
In addition, Dr. Goldkind is trained in the latest technologies in the Orthodontic field. Beyond conventional braces, Dr. Goldkind is Invisalign certified.
Outside the office, Dr. Goldkind enjoys playing ice hockey, golf, and cooking up a good meal. Currently, Dr. Goldkind resides in Mt. Olive with his wife Anessa, a teacher, and their son Grayson who was born on March 15, 2011.
